Mira is a social enterprise by FBMI that aims to empower the world’s most underprivileged communities by creating a market to sell their produce globally, with all profits invested back into the initiative.

from all across the country under the shared vision of sustainability, pairing our efforts with modern marketing techniques to provide the world with exceptional natural produce.

Mira have traveled across Afghanistan and built trusting relationships with hard-working, vulnerable female farmers. They are hard-working, strong and independent and they make a meaningful contribution to the economy. They work alongside men as equal parts and business partners. Mira has given women a platform to be seen and heard, so that they can inspire and empower others and draw them closer to the light, away from the darkness of extremism and cultivation of illegal substances.
